"5-6" Mel Axanthic, light-T&A
If you like interesting axolotls, these are the ticket! These mel axanthics are spotty and gorgeous with both darks and light patterns. They have bright light markings on their sides and dark spots on their back and tails. These are one of my favorite phenotypes and are happily munching on pieces of chopped worms and small pellets. These beauties are the rare product of a mosaic mother, Aria, who is a subtle mosaic of Axanthic and Mel(originally from Merrimen's). She produces some eggs from her axanthic side and some from her mel side, which is extremely rare. The father of the clutch is Torin, an Axanthic from the breeder Logan Kimball, who I raised from an egg. This clutch was bred by Caty from Siserah's Aquatics Escape and raised here at Northern Axolotls. These littles hatched 10/10/20 andare homozygous for both melenoid and axanthic and could carry hets for copper and possibly white.
